Courtney Gosser Design is proud to utilize Print-On-Demand.

What is Print-On-Demand?

Print-on-demand services are fulfillment and production companies that pair with designers to provide high-quality products in a more environmentally-friendly process. Rather than producing and investing in large quantities of products and accessories, I work with vendors to design and source items I want to create which will only be created and fulfilled when an order is received.

By working with print-on-demand vendors, I am able to reduce my own overhead costs and the likelihood of creating large quantities of items that may go unsold. This allows me to test a wide range of items with less risk, keeping my shop up-to-date, fresh, and geared toward my target audience! It also helps to reduce the environmental impact of mass products and wasted goods by making your items specifically for your order!

How does Print-On-Demand work exactly?

Once an order is placed on my website, I will route the information to my team of vendors. Once the order is received on their end, my vendors will handle all fulfillment tasks such as picking the blank items and materials, physically creating and packing each item, and ensuring a full quality check is completed before shipping each item out!

How long does the Print-On-Demand process usually take?

In terms of producing and shipping items, it all varies on what the order contains. Typically, production and quality check averages between 3 to 7 business days, with an additional 3 to five business days for the items to travel to your front door. Some items may take longer than others and in this instance, my vendors may ship out your items in multiple packages to ensure you receive items as quickly as possible.

When it comes to designing products and getting them ready to add to my shop, the process varies due to my own creative process! Once I get my items selected and artwork sent over to my team of vendors, I always order samples of each product so I can check the quality and design myself before a final approval is issued. This helps me know exactly what is being created and sent out and also helps give me a baseline for any quality control I may handle on my own.

What does mostly Print-On-Demand mean?

I always try to do as much print-on-demand as possible due to the financial and environmental aspects behind it, but some items aren’t able to be sourced by my team of vendors just yet. In cases where I want to create new products that aren’t available to my vendors yet, I will invest in creating the items in bulk and ship them directly to my vendors to hold and manage for me. This allows me to keep product selection versatile and current to today’s trends, while also keeping all my items together for packing and shipping.
