Hello Lovely presented the exciting opportunity to collaborate on a special edition cover for Shadows of You, the acclaimed novel by best-selling author Catherine Cowles. We aimed to create a cover that felt fresh and appealing to the target audience, while honoring the essence of the original cover as a tribute to this beloved story.
After working through multiple rounds of sketches and color adjustments, we arrived at a design featuring farm animals, a mountain backdrop, and soft pastel tones to reflect the novel’s tender themes and key elements. This special edition became a best-seller for Hello Lovely, cherished by readers not only for its heartfelt story but also as a beautiful piece of art for their bookshelf displays.

Hello Lovely commissioned a special edition illustrated book cover designed to embody the gentle, nurturing love at the heart of the story, while incorporating symbolic elements from the novel. Inspired by motifs of farm animals, mountain landscapes, and ballerina slippers, we crafted a cover rich in hidden details that reveal themselves the longer it’s viewed. The result is a visually captivating concept that honors the beloved imagery of this best-selling novel.
