Brand Identity Design and Merchandise Design

Founded in 2017, Rivet Apparel Co. Is an apparel brand specializing in the production of vintage and nature-inspired children’s clothing. The name Rivet was selected for its reference to the brand being “riveting.” In addition, an actual “rivet” is a strong metal pin that holds objects together, which has strong, stable connotations.

We wanted to ensure the brand identity of Rivet Apparel Co. remained youthful and energetic, key components of the brand and the families that actively invest in products and apparel. Exploration also served as a primary inspiration due to the carefree nature of children, paired with the optimism of a shining sun.

PROJECT INSIGHT

Although the primary target audience is children, it’s truly parents that will be making the choice to purchase from Rivet Apparel Co.

It’s important to ensure the overall imagery and tone of the new branding attracts both age groups, which creates a balance of youthful optimism mixed with modern, clean design supported by a retro aesthetic.
