Rebelution
Apparel and Merchandise
Rebelution is a reggae rock music band formed in Isla Vista, California, known for vibrant music and soulful vibes. To match the effervescent energy of the iconic band, I had the pleasure of designing a summer-inspired apparel design to add to the iconic merchandise collection.
The design features a color wave of optimism, and imagery of a soulful butterfly to symbolize the growth of the band and the optimism of their fans. The apparel design is featured on multiple items in the Rebelution store and has been quite the hit among fans since its release.
Project Insight
The ultimate goal of this project is to create an illustration that perfectly embodies the optimism, warmth, and energy found at a summer music festival.
With the request to ensure a butterfly remains the main focus of the design, additional optimistic illustrations are used to complete the overall theme and aesthetic geared towards a collection of apparel for youth and women’s fit items.
